This is a neighborhood Soul Food establishment. The Owner Mrs. Stein herself is always there cooking and/or cashiering. It's a family atmosphere for sure. The food has/is still . My first visit back in over 10yrs. Outta town mostly. I highly recommend. Prices range $10-$15 pp. Depending on your preference. Vegetarian? Plenty to choose from.

A good place for lunch if you are in or near the area. A classic "meat and two/three" joint that serves up home cooking cafeteria style. The meatloaf was really good. The sides could use a tad more seasoning. Stein's is a quality lunch option with friendly and welcoming service.

This a good place to get (Soul Food) plate lunches. It's the meat and two or three vegetables (Homemade Cafeteria Style Food) With rolls or corn bread and sweet tea. They do mostly carry out but have tables. The food I rate as above average but they are a little pricey in my book for a plate lunch. You know what they say about getting what you pay for. I have had cheaper plate lunches that were not very good so I don't mind paying the extra $2 over all the others. It's not in a great location so you should be a little aware of your surrounding if you go. The ladies are very nice and attentive to your needs.

Every Sunday after church it is without a doubt we are heading to Stein's.The food is some of the "Best"comfort food I've ever had from a restaurant. The staff are so sweet and friendly. Their patience with a "hmmm...don't know what I want"person as myself is out of this world! Good food, good friendly service and a joyful smile is what keeps me coming back every Sunday it's like a "Big Ole Hug"

My sister Traci and I went out to lunch for our monthly catch up session and we decided to support a local business as usual. It's been awhile since I had been to Steins because my office is no longer near the establishment, however, upon eating my food, I instantly remember why this place was my weekly place for lunch. It's simply good southern soul comfort food. I traditionally only get vegetables, but my sister Turkey leg looked tempting and indicated that she had found her new spot for lunch. The place is clean and Ms. Stein provides that ever nice smile letting you know she has put love in every pot.
